For good. Essa foi uma expressão que sempre foi uma das minhas favoritas em inglês. E quem diria que ela seria o nome de uma música que ganharia um sentido especial, hoje. Realmente a vida, pra mim eu diria: Deus, surpreende a gente quando a gente menos espera. Seja trazendo uma pessoa especial, do nada e fazendo com que ela seja fundamental no seu crescimento. Seja para pequenas ou grandes surpresas como ganhar um teatro de presente. Quando eu vi, estávamos na fileira H, happy row como disse o ajudante do teatro. E em cada nota da orquestra ao vivo, eu ficava arrepiada, não só pela história, não só pela letra das músicas, mas pelo motivo de eu estar lá naquele teatro. Obrigada Twin por ser essa pessoa especial e sensível. Obrigada por me deixar fazer parte da sua vida desse jeito especial que só Deus teria preparado. Obrigada por tudo o que você me fez viver aqui em cada detalhe. Definitivamente esse curso tinha que vir por você e tinha que ser com você junto. Cada vez que eu leio e releio a letra da música, mais ela ganha sentido para a nossa amizade e para aquele momento pós-teatro, dão tem como não me emocionar depois de uma noite como essa :)

Eu simplesmente AMO essa música! Uma das mais intensas que eu conheço. Sempre me deixa sem ar, não importa quem cante. (claro que o Buble tem um charme especial...mas ok...haha)

Vou te falar que a letra dessa música da Kate Perry falou comigo lá no fundo, surpreendentemente. Disse tudo. Uma inspiração pop, quem diria. Definitivamente não podemos ser preconceituosos. O que a gente precisa ouvir pode vir de qualquer lugar, de qualquer pessoa, é só estar sensível para saber ouvir.

Field trip

Não sou fanática ao ponto de saber tudo o que se passa no processo dos artistas que eu gosto. Mas lembro que nesse caso específico, fiquei fascinada com esse vídeo do John Mayer quando ele estava trabalhando no último cd dele.
Ele gostou da melodia que criou, colocou uma letra X e colocou a música no carro para testar na estrada (ideia genial! ainda mais no por do sol!) (ele detalha mais o processo aqui)


A música cresceu, cresceu tanto que virou "war of my life", uma música que me faz chorar:


É, esse é o John Mayer, ele faz parte do meu grupo de porta-voz favoritos, sempre com letras e melodias que mexem demais comigo, não sei explicar. O resto do grupo com o mesmo efeito seria: Coldplay, The Killers, Switchfoot...devo estar esquecendo algum, com o tempo vou completando...
